This Privacy Policy explains how HTTP Status Code Helper (“the App”) handles information. The App is designed to be offline-first and does not require you to create an account.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email through the App.

2. Offline Content

All HTTP status code content and training questions are stored locally on your device. The App does not send this content to any server.

3. Favorites & Local Settings

The App may store your preferences locally on your device (for example: favorites, theme choice, language choice, and quiz settings). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

4. Advertising (AdMob)

The free version of the App may display banner ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data (such as device identifiers, coarse location signals, and ad interaction events) to serve and measure ads, depending on your device settings and applicable laws.

5. In-App Purchases

The App may offer a one-time purchase (“Pro”) via Google Play Billing. We do not receive your payment details. Transactions are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google’s policies.

6. Analytics

The App does not include custom analytics SDKs by default. If advertising is enabled, Google may provide aggregated reporting related to ads.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Third parties (such as Google/AdMob) may process data for advertising as described above.

8. Data Retention

Local app data (favorites, settings) remains on your device until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. Any ad-related data retention is governed by Google’s policies.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and developer education. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to keep the App lightweight and secure. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Because the App is offline-first, most data stays on your device.
